Frank Carson Starts a Tradition

At left, see the first effort at creating a collectible giveaway for
Tower Records customers.  Frank Carson created fantastic images
(often centered around sensuous women or mythical figures) as either
special event posters or calendars to be handed out to Tower shoppers.
The Sacramento Rock and Radio Museum has the most complete
collection of these oversize pieces.  Some very rare prints are
Carson original designs intended for businesses other than Tower.
Note that by 1975, Tower was selling sponsorships to KZAP.
The prints shown on the website are all available for sale.

See later Tower images here.
