Mountain Aire in the Calaveras foothills

Though the shows were a couple hours from the Sacramento area,
they were definitely aimed at the Capital audience.  Co-sponsored
by Sacramento Rock stations, these all-day events featured top-name
bands, crafts, and famously, an air show.  In the 70s, the production
generated one of the few poster series, as poster art had fallen out of
favor with promoters.
